Deformation control

This type of control measures the mechanical forces applied to a board or electronic systems during the stressing phases on test fixtures. This control has become dominant particularly since the appearance of BGA-type components which are very sensitive to the mechanical forces applied on them.

To do this we will glue strain gauges onto the product under test and perform test cycles on it while measuring the forces applied to the strain gauges.
